Dad was a man of his word, "I tell you one time". Or, "You can't make any money using only one hand". Of course, this was about working in the fields until I was in 8th grade. Dad's strickness helped us to survive in our adult years, oh how hard it is. Another note on dads last hours. We, my brothers and myself, had set up a schedule where someone would be with him night and day. I think he knew our scheme and checked out to save us any hardship. He was like that.
